Camp Policy

The terms below apply to every lesson, rental and camp booked with NaneaKite. If anything is unclear, ask us before you book.

1 Booking, Deposits & Payments

• Reservation & Deposit To secure a spot in any kitesurf camp or package, a deposit (typically 30% to 50% of the total amount) is required at the time of booking.
• Final Balance The remaining balance must be paid upon arrival (in cash or via approved local payment methods) or online prior to the start of the camp.
• Accepted Payment Methods Bank transfers, credit/debit cards, or cash (USD, EUR, or local currency based on exchange rates).

2 Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Cancellations by the Client
  • 30+ days prior to arrival: Full refund of the deposit, minus any applicable bank transfer or administrative fees.
  • 14 to 29 days prior to arrival: 50% refund of the deposit, or option to reschedule for a future date within the same calendar year.
  • Less than 14 days prior to arrival / No-shows: The deposit is non-refundable.
• Cancellations or Changes by the Management In the rare event that we must cancel a camp due to unforeseen circumstances, clients will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.

3 Weather & Wind Conditions (Force Majeure)

• Wind Policy Kitesurfing is a weather-dependent sport. While we choose locations with high wind reliability, we cannot control Mother Nature.
• No-Wind Alternatives If there is insufficient wind for kitesurfing, we pivot to alternative activities (such as surf coaching, stand-up paddleboarding, or cultural excursions) to ensure you get the most out of your holiday.
• Refunds for Weather Due to pre-booked accommodations and committed instructor schedules, no partial refunds are issued for days with unsuitable wind or weather conditions.

4 Safety & Student Requirements

• Swimming Ability All participants must be comfortable swimming in open water.
• Health Disclosure Guests must inform us of any medical conditions, injuries, or physical limitations prior to booking.
• Instructor Authority Instructors reserve the right to suspend or stop a lesson if a student acts recklessly, disregards safety instructions, or poses a danger to themselves or others. No refunds will be provided in such cases.

5 Equipment Rental & Damage Policy

• School Gear Equipment provided during lessons (kites, bars, boards, harnesses, impact vests, and helmets) is checked regularly.
• Liability for Damage Students and independent renters are responsible for school equipment assigned to them. Excessive or negligent damage caused by failing to follow instructor guidelines may incur a repair or replacement fee.
• Loss of Gear Any loss of equipment due to negligence in the water will be charged at market value.
