We offer kitesurf lessons in Essaouira, Morocco, for all levels, from complete beginners to advanced riders. Choose from private, semi-private, or group lessons with experienced and certified instructors. Our lessons are adapted to your level so you can learn safely and progress with confidence.

Learn to Kitesurf in Essaouira — Step by Step

The beginner lesson stands for 4 steps, the first is kite control; then body drag; after that comes water start then the fourth are transition and upwind. Whereas the intermediate and advanced levels are the next independent steps, where you will learn new tips and tricks, including jumps, wave riding, and foil.

Welcome to Naneakite Kitesurf School in Essaouira

At Naneakite, we are different from other kitesurfing schools when it comes to teaching kitesurfing. We love our job, and we make your experience unique. We make sure that you will fully understand the lesson and all the tips and techniques given during the lesson, including security and safty.

We have a friendly team where you can spend unforgettable time with either in the water or out of it. Our instructors are multilingual and can give lessons fluently without any linguistic obstacles.

Our kitesurf lessons are based on the main beach of Essaouira, and we have the option to transport you to other kitesurfing spots around Essaouira. You can reach the school on foot from the medina, and it sits right by the beach.

Extra Kitesurfing services

we offer extra kitesurfing services including full rental gear and supervision assisting by our instructors that will help you relaunch your kite and assist you during your full kite session

KITESURF SUPERVISION ESSAOUIRA

Supervised session

We will help you plan your session at the new spot according to the conditions; we will assist you with your take-offs and landings and will keep a close eye on you until you find your bearings.

However, be careful: kitesurfing coaching does not replace a kite lesson. Thus, if the coaching is transformed as such, you will be charged for a lesson.

KITESURF EQUIPMENT RENTAL Essaouira

Insurance

Rental rates do not include equipment insurance. However, you may need to inquire about the cost of material insurance. Day insurance is available. In the event of destruction by negligence or loss of material, the customer is obliged to repair the damage. (Ask the manager about insurance, fees, taxes and charges). The hirer must use all equipment as intended and with care. In the event of damage or loss of equipment, NaneaKite must be informed at the moment. The customer will be debited for the cost.

The private lesson is individual maximum of one student per instructor. This will allow you to learn quickly and to have time to progress quickly.

The group lesson is for a maximum of 4 students; the lessons are shared in pairs.

?What equipment is included in a kitesurf lesson?

Every lesson includes the kite, bar and lines, board, harness, wetsuit, helmet, and impact vest, plus insurance and radio contact with your instructor on the water. You only need swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel.

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday with semi-private kitesurfing lessons, so we actually organised our trip to Morocco around it. My requirements were for the two of us to be together during our classes, but each have our own kite, and for the instructors to be certified and speak English. NaneaKite did not disappoint! We took 8 hours of lessons each and the progress we made was amazing. I had been in constant communication with Abdou, the owner, for months before our trip. He was always kind and reassuring, and kept me updated on the weather and kitesurfing conditions in Essaouira, which made planning everything so much easier. Our instructor, Mohammed, was amazing as well. He explained everything clearly from scratch, paid close attention to what we were doing, and corrected us whenever we made mistakes so that we could progress faster. We are so happy we chose NaneaKite and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to learn kitesurfing in Essaouira!
